Picture challenge

So, i was thinking it would be fun to start weekly challenges that don't take too much time but brighten up your day! We will have two teams, team Talyia and team Ashtyn and whoever can complete the weekly challenge will earn 1 point. Whoever has the most points by the end of the deadline is officially the champion of challenges. You can also invite friends to follow the Tal and Ash blog and vote for either of us. With every 10 votes a participant gets they also earn one champion point.

For the first challenge....
This is a fun, interactive challenge that will help with finding something to be greatful  for everyday. You must take at least one picture each day for a week with a caption of why you are greatful for what you took a picture of. No cheating!! You can't use picture previously taken by you, they must be from the day you post them. Every picture must be uploaded by 12am that day (taking into consideration time difference) Whoever can go a week without missing or skipping earns one point for their team. Your mission if you choose to accept it starts Tuesday September 30th. Good luck!

Adventures & Experiences!

Have you ever seen photographs of the same things from different perspectives? For example, a photograph of a street seen from both sides. Everything changes, your perspective shifts to meet the new one and what once might have been familiar is now strange.

I wouldn't say I'm familiar with London at all, it's a pretty hard place to be familiar with (I was only there for 3 days), and just when you think you're out of it, nope, you're still in the centre! With a population of 8.3 million (2013 statistic), contributing to nearly one quarter of the United Kingdoms economic output, the question remains: where the heck do all these people live?

London is like any other place really, but there's just something about it I love.. There is so much culture and history. It has some less economically developed / slum parts but every place has them. I'm Not going to lie, but when we were heading toward the centre of London I was really surprised.. I didn't really know what to expect, well actually I did a little - my first glances I was like "Wow, is this seriously our capital city? It's disgusting" but clearly I spoke too soon, we passed houses that were practically half left, TV aerials hanging off of the roofs, ripped curtains & smashed windows. I'm making it sound really bad here but I'm not exaggerating , seriously.  We passed through those parts and then gradually I seen London's potential... It is beautiful!

Overall the very short amount of time I was there I loved every second (apart from the hotel room I was freaked out) we went to see Wicked (I fell asleep 5 times during) so that was nice. We went on the London Eye, we went to Harrods for those of you who don't know what that is.. It's a really posh shop on Brompton in London, where a tiny tub of Caviar is like £9,000. Hahah it's pretty funny actually because people were like cracking on with their weekly shop. We went to Madame Tussaud's and all that jazz!

I'd happily live there! I think depending on where you are from and what kind of person you are, you either hate it or love it.. Its definitely not for everyone. We didn't stop that often to take any photos so half of them are through our bus window. If you ever get the chance to go, go for it!  (:

Party's, Cupcakes and Bowling.

First things first. My friend Darae had a birthday on Tuesday and so on Monday we went 10 pin bowling. I defiantly didn't win but I had a blast showing off new moves. We ate at Pizza Hut and got milk shakes.
I would say that was a really fun and it was a school night too. I was also planning a surprise party for her. On Friday we got the cotton candy machine and snow cones ready. She wasent expecting a second party and  so we really surprised her. We had a blast and later that night we went to a stake dance in lethbridge.
That basically sums it up but I had a fun week and I can't wait for next weeks post.
